FKBP, TRP, Cyp

  1. aMW, molecular weight.
  2. bCyp, cyclophiln domain; SP, signal peptide; Mito, mitochondrial targeting sequence; SYF2, SYF2 splicing factor; RRM, RNA recognition motif; RING, RING finger domain; WD40, WD40 repeat; FKBP, FK506-binding domain; TRP, Tetratricopeptide repeat.
  3. c, dAccession number in Entrez Protein and ToxoDB, respectively.
  4. eTg Cyp18.7 in Entrez Protein contains only an NH2-terminally truncated Cyp domain. In all further analyses, Tg Cyp31.8 was used instead. This deduced protein contains the same COOH-terminus but additional NH2-terminal sequences.
  5. fTg Cyp36.7 was deduced from the T. gondii VEG genome sequence, chromosome VIIa, between position 1860418 and 1864189.
  6. gTg Cyp66.3 contains a protein containing a RNA recognition motif. However, the Cyp domain appears to be disrupted, maybe due to misprediction of the ORF.
