  1. Experimental condition 1: Enzyme activity was assayed against inhibitory concentrations of ATP (1.0 mM) and low concentration of F-6-P (0.5 mM). MgCl2 concentration was 3.3 mM in all the experiments. Experimental condition 2: Enzyme activity was assayed by the standard procedure using excess F-6-P (3.3 mM), MgCl2 (3.3 mM) and optimum level of ATP (0.1 mM).
