  1. The enzyme activity was assayed by preincubating it with the specific concentration of a desired compound for 15 min at 37°C and then residual PFK activity was monitored as described in Materials and Methods. Control denotes the enzyme activity measured in absence of any compound. *1-methyl-4-(piperidine-1-yl) carbonyl piperazine (Compound 72/70).
