  1. Tick samples constituted a total of 45 positive ticks collected in Basilicata (Site D) and Sicily (Site E). Measurements of length and width of developing larvae in ticks are expressed as mean calculated on 10 microfilariae (mfs), 7 L1, 7 L2 and 5 L3.
