From: Molecular analysis of Baylisascaris columnaris revealed mitochondrial and nuclear polymorphisms
Relative position of Baylisascaris in the genus Ascarididae. ML of CO1 gene sequences of ascarid nematode species available in Genbank and new isolates (this study). The consensus CO1 gene sequence of the B. transfuga isolates shows 100% identity with sequences from Genbank. CO1 gene sequences of B. procyonis and B. columnaris isolates separate from other ascarid species and from each other with high bootstrap support (500 bootstraps). * This study, see also Figure 2 and Table 3.
