Immunohistochemical labeling of adult Onchocerca flexuosa with polyclonal antibodies against keyhole limpet hemocyanin (KLH). Keyhole limpit hemocyanin was used as a carrier protein to generate antibodies against putative Wolbachia-like peptides. Antibodies against this carrier failed to bind specific tissues in female (A) or male (B) worms.
