Letters at the top of each square refer to treatment group: PA = preening and antibody immune response, PN = preening and naïve/no immune response, BA = bitted (no preening), and antibody immune response, BN = bitted and no immune response. The timeline for each of the plots is the same; blood was sampled repeatedly from 0 to 70 days after exposure to Haemoproteus infected flies.
