Immunohistochemical localization of Hco-gal-m protein in cryostal section of H. contortus . Hco-gal-m protein was detected by the indirect immunofluorescence method using second antibody Goat Anti-Rat IgG H&L (Alexa Fluor® 647). The section was counterstained with DAPI to show DNA. (A) Hco-gal-m is localized in the luminal surface of the adult worm’s gut. (B) No labeling was observed in negative control. The arrow indicates the gut brush border. Original magnifications: ×400.
