Haemosporidian sequences from Cx. pipiens mosquitoes sampled in this study are shown in bold. Branches having bootstrap support (5000 replicates) with values under 60% are omitted. Scale bar indicates number of nucleotide substitutions per site. “like” means that the strain isolated in this study differs only by 1 bp from the reference sequence. Morphospecies or parasite genuses are given for lineages referenced in GeneBank and using the MalAvi database.
