In situ cytokine profile. Mice were i.n. vaccinated with LaSP-Ex and infected with L. amazonensis-GFP as described for Figure 2. On day 125 of infection, the levels of IFN-γ (A), IL-10 (B), TGF-β (C), IL-4 (D), IL-12 (E) and TNF-α (F) were measured in the lesion homogenates, and expressed as ng per g of footpad.
