Effect of tick saliva on differentiated DCs. Bone marrow cells derived from C57BL/6 mice were cultured with GM-CSF (25 ng/ml) for 7 days. Immature DCs were then obtained and incubated with different dilutions of saliva (1:10, 1:30, 1:100, 1:300 and 1:1000 v/v) for18 hours. The expression of CD11c and CD11b were evaluated.
