The tachyzoite loads (×105/per gram tissue) in the liver and brain of mice immunized after challenge with 1 × 104 tachyzoites of T. gondii strain RH per mouse. The data columns in the illustration represent the reduction (%) of tachyzoite loads in the liver and brain of mice immunized compared with the values of the control group (PBS). The counting of parasites has been done twice for each tissue from per mouse. Values are means ± SD. a vs. b, P < 0.05; c vs. d, P <0.01.
