Humoral response induced by vaccination with rLiHyV protein plus saponin. Sera samples were collected from animals four weeks after the third and last immunization, and before infection. The parasite-specific IgG1 (a) and IgG2a (b) isotype levels were determined, and the bars represent the mean ± standard deviation of the groups. The ratios between IgG2a and IgG1 levels were also calculated (c). Statistically significant differences in relation to the saline, saponin or rLiHyV/saponin groups were observed (a, b and c letters, respectively; P < 0.05)
