Activity of oxadiazole-2-oxides against adult S. japonica in vitro, with and without carboxy-PTIO. Carboxy-PTIO was incubated with freshly perfused adult S. japonica at 100 mM in the presence and absence of 10 mM oxadiazole-2-oxides. The worms’ mobility, tegumental alterations and survival rates were monitored under an inverted microscope. The experiment was done in triplicate. The percentage of adult worms that survived are shown (mean ± SD; n = 3)
