Cell survival in cultures with a modified PAR synthesis subjected to hydrogen peroxide (H2O2) treatment. Cell survival was assessed by measuring parasite motility 6 h after treatment with different H2O2 concentrations. a Procyclic cultures previously incubated with 29 nM Olaparib for 30 min and with no inhibitor added (control). b Three day-induced (Tet +) and non-induced (Tet -) transgenic RNAi-TbPARP cultures, (c) Three day-induced (Tet +) and non-induced (Tet -) transgenic TbPARP over- expressing cultures and (d) Three day-induced (Tet +) and non-induced (Tet -) transgenic RNAi-TbPARG cultures. Three independent experiments were carried out for every case. Statistical significance is specified in comparison to control groups (***, P < 0.001; **, P < 0.01; *, P < 0.05)
