The phylogeny of the species of Phlebotomus and Sergentomyia based on maximum-likelihood (ML); the tree was constructed based on a multiple sequence alignment (haplotypes) of the nuclear EF-1α gene. Only bootstrap values higher than 70 % are indicated for each branch. Distance represents the number of base substitutions per site. The (Ts/Tv) rate is 1.3222 among 516 sites in the final dataset
