  1. Sub-assemblage AI is common in wildlife and humans while sub-assemblage AIII, or fallow deer sub-assemblage, has only been found in deer. Overall prevalence for Giardia was 0.3 %. Species commonly reported in humans (46 %) are in bold-type. Bird, Emu, Waterbird, Reptile, Cat, Dog, Fox, Rat, Possum, Wallaby and Unknown groups were all test-negative for Giardia
