Knockdown in bmugm gene expression in adult B. malayi male parasites. The relative fold downregulation in mRNA expression of bmugm in B. malayi adult male worms soaked in siRNA1, 2, 1 + 2 was quantified by real time PCR (qRT-PCR) using comparative ΔCT method at different time interval (24, 48, 72, 96, 120 h), β-tubulin was the endogenous control housekeeping gene. The above results depict the mean ± standard deviation (SD) derived from three separate experiments carried out under similar conditions. The gel images depicting the target (bmugm) and endogenous control (β-tubulin) gene expression status at different time points are shown on top (a-e). ***P < 0.001 (very highly significant)
