Confirmation of T. evansi identified in this study by the neighbour-joining phylogenetic tree that shown well clustering with reference sequences of T. evansi. The relationship was determined using the ITS of rRNA gene sequences by neighbour-joining with 1000 bootstraps. T. evansi identified in this study were depicted in bold letters. Trypanosomes sequences from GenBank were shown both by their accession numbers and parasites names. Scale bar used was nucleotide substitutions per site
