Structures of asarinin, xanthoxylol-γ,γ-dimethylallylether, pellitorine, and sesamin. These compounds were identified in the bark of Zanthoxylum piperitum in this study. The chemical formula of (–)-asarinin (1) is C20H18O6, with a molar mass of 354.35 g/mol; the chemical formula of (+)-xanthoxylol-γ,γ-dimethylallylether (2) is C25H28O6, with a molar mass of 424.48 g/mol; the chemical formula of pellitorine (3) is C14H25NO, with a molar mass of 223.35 g/mol; and the chemical formula of sesamin (4) is C20H18O6, with a molar mass of 354.35 g/mol
