From: Therapeutic effect of Schistosoma japonicum cystatin on bacterial sepsis in mice
rSj-Cys reduced the inflammatory cytokines (TNF-α, IL-6, IL-1β) and induced IL-10 and TGF-β1 releasing in mice with CLP-induced sepsis.
