Mouse mast cell response to Borrelia OspC-KO. Primary MCs from C57BL/6 mice were activated with medium (Ø) Borrelia burgdorferi (s.s.) (Bb) 297 (Wt), Bb OspC-KO (OspC-KO) or Bb OspC-complemented strains (OspC-Compl.) (MOI 50:1). After 24 h, supernatants were collected to measure IL-6 concentration by ELISA (a).
