The reaction of a mixture of P. falciparum and P. knowlesi in the PK-FISH assay. In vitro cultures of P. falciparum and P. knowlesi were mixed 1:1 v/v to yield 250 parasites per μl of each parasite and then tested in the PK-FISH assay.
