Uptake of rHCcyst-3 by goat monocytes. Goat monocytes were left untreated or incubated with rHCcyst-3 (40 μg/ml) for 30 min at 37 °C. All cells were fixed and incubated with rat anti-rHCcyst-3 antibody followed by Cy3 labeled goat anti-rat IgG (red). The nuclei and membranes of the corresponding cells were visualized by DAPI (blue) and DIO (green) staining, respectively. The internalization of rHCcyst-3 by goat monocytes was visualized with a confocal laser scanning microscopy. Merge, overlap of red and green channels.
