Phylogenetic analysis based on ITS2 haplotype variation. Accession numbers of haplotypes marked with color symbols were identified in the current study; others were retrieved from GenBank. Haplotypes marked with a blue circle are associated with Ae. albopictus. Haplotypes marked with a red square or a purple diamond are associated with cryptic species of the Ae. albopictus subgroup. Neighbor-joining trees were constructed via the maximum composite likelihood substitution model using MEGA (version 7.0).
