From: Exposure to amitraz, fipronil and permethrin affects cell viability and ABC transporter gene expression in an Ixodes ricinus cell line

IRE/CTVM19 cells after 10 days of treatment with amitraz, fipronil or permethrin at concentrations of 25 μM, 50 μM, 100 μM and 150 μM. Higher drug concentrations induced changes in cell adherence and morphology, with cells appearing bigger and more vacuolated, and with a reduction in cell density. Pictures were captured using an IB2FL inverted microscope (Exacta Optech, Thame, UK) and OrmaEurotek camera (Orma Scientific, Milan, Italy) at 100× magnification. Scale-bar: 200 μm
