Numbers at the branches indicate the Bayesian posterior probability and maximum likelihood bootstrap support, respectively. The scale-bar indicates the number of substitutions per site. The tree was rooted with the sequences of terrestrial trypanosomes. The accession numbers for the studied trypanosomes are not indicated since in each case the consensus inferred from several sequences was used
