Vertical distribution, physiological status and host use of Culicoides. Parous and nulliparous groups were combined to account for difficulties in identifying parity in C. venustus. Treemaps represent the results of blood-meal analysis for that species in the ground and canopy traps each year. Only the three most commonly collected species are represented.
