Changes of SDNP specific transcript levels were analysed by qPCR, and the 2-∆∆CT method was used in evaluating the results. For the reference gene, S. digitata actin gene was used. GFP was used as the non-specific control. SDNP transcript level was presented as relative to that of non-treated worms. Each experiment was performed in triplicate. Bars display mean ± SD. Statistical analysis was performed using Student’s t-test (P < 0.05). Significant differences are represented by different lowercase letters
