Michaelis-Menten and Lineweaver-Burk double-reciprocal plots for the substrates of CS of A. castellanii. The enzyme assay was performed by varying one substrate concentration in the presence of a saturating concentration of the other substrate (see the experimental section). Panels a and b show the Michaelis-Menten plots obtained for cysteine and Na2S as the variable substrates, respectively. The corresponding Lineweaver-Burk plots are depicted as insets on the right side of each panel
