Comparison between the sample types and test methods. The slit skin smears were examined with microscopy. The skin scrapping and aspirate were tested at the point of need with SpeedXtract (SE) and recombinase polymerase amplification (RPA) assay. The punch biopsies were screened with SE and RPA as well as DNeasy blood and tissue kit (mini) and polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
