Histone acetylation analysis in HDAC inhibitors-treated adult S. mansoni parasites. Representative immunoblots of the histone-enriched protein fractions extracted from S. mansoni adult worms incubated with anti-acetylated lysine antibody (acetylated-K) or anti-tubulin, as a sample loading control. Worms have been treated for 24 h with 1 μM of the HDAC pan-inhibitor, TSA or with the indicated HDAC inhibitors (10 μM) or with DMSO (vehicle) used as control. Lane MW: molecular weight marker size.
