On the other spectrum of viability, treatment with 100 μM 3′,4′-dichlorobenzamil hydrochloride completely inhibited the excystation process. The use of 100 μM lanthanum oxide and stevioside hydrate resulted in a partial inhibition of the excystation, with respective cell viability of 22.75% and 29.41%, respectively.
