The Mahalanobis distances showed that the laboratory population was significantly different compared with the Amajari population (P < 0.01) and the Bonfim population (P < 0.01). Urban triatomines from Boa Vista (black circles 1–3) were introduced as ‘unknown specimens’ [12]
