T lymphocytes influence in the kinetics of anti-ML-ESP and AW-ESP Igs in the small intestine during the first days of T. spiralis infection. Levels of specific Igs were determined by an in-house ELISA in intestinal tissue extracts from Swiss (a, c, e and g) and Swiss-Nude (b, d, f and h) mice. Results were expressed as OD mean ± SD from 3 mice/dpi and 3 control mice. Data were analysed by one-way ANOVA followed by the Tukey’s multiple comparisons test (nlme and multcomp packages, respectively; α = 0.05). Asterisks (*) represent significant differences between infected and control animals, *P < 0.05, **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001
