Rooted phylogenetic tree of the Wolbachia strain identified in An. minimus collected from Umphang Valley compared to other Wolbachia strains. The conserved region of the Wolbachia 16S rRNA-encoding DNA sequence obtained from the identified Wolbachia strains (blue letters) was phylogenetically compared with those in Wolbachia subgroups A, B, C, D, E, F, and H (black letters) and Anopheles-specific subgroups (orange letters) using MEGA software version 10. Rickettsia montanensis was used as the reference outgroup. A tree scale of 0.01 corresponds to inferred evolutionary changes. Details of the DNA sequences retrieved from GenBank are shown in Table 2
