Pupation dynamics. A total of 300 larvae per blood condition was used in each experiment. Three independent experiments were performed for each type of blood meal (900 larvae per condition). For all conditions, the points were fitted to a Gaussian curve according to non-linear regression; R2 = 0.98, 0.97, 0.97, 0,98, 0.99, for the Wolbachia-infected strain ((wMelBr) fed human blood, wMelBr fed guinea pig blood, wMelBr fed mouse blood, ControlI_Br fed mouse blood, and Control II_Rockefeller fed mouse blood, respectively
