Consensus sequences of H. hammondi have been deposited in GenBank (KC223619, JX477424, EU493279, EU493280, EU493281, EU493282, EU493283, EU493284, EU493285); the RH529-1 sequence has been previously published [19]. Further details are provided in Additional file 3: Table S3. There are several sequence variants of H. hammondi; lowercase letters indicate polymorphic sites. Blue indicates a probe, green indicates a forward primer, red indicates a reverse primer, orange indicates a sequence difference, arrow-headed end indicates a 5′-end
