Colored dots represent host organisms from which tick samples were collected. Black, pink, red, orange, blue, and green colored dots represent dog (Canis lupus familiaris), cat (Felis catus), sheep (Ovis aries), goat (Capra hircus), cattle (Bos taurus), and tortoise (Testudo graeca) hosts, respectively. Each colored branch represents a cluster of ticks in the phylogenetic tree. Pathogens are given in black boxes near the cluster of tick species in which they were detected.
