MV and JV snails examined by LAMP assay to detect S. mansoni infection. LAMP products were either visualized by using silver-stained 6% polyacrylamide gels or observed by visual inspection with the naked eye of reaction tubes with a 1:10 dilution of SYBR Green I (positive, yellow-green; negative, orange) or with UV light exposure (positive, fluorescent; negative, non-fluorescent).
