Indirect immunofluorescence assay detection of PvPH in Plasmodium vivax gametocytes. Gametocyte-infected erythrocytes were probed with the mouse anti-PvPH sera or the control anti-glutathione S-transferase (GST) sera. Fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC)-conjugated goat anti-mouse immunoglobulin G (green) was used as the secondary antibodies. Nuclei were stained with 4′6-diamidino-2-phenylindole (DAP; blue).
