Immunofluorescence image: cells were treated with ethanol extract of pomegranate along with MAYV according to the virucidal experiment. As already noted, the ethanol extract of pomegranate had a significant positive effect on virus replication: a Cell control, b virus control, c ethanol extract of pomegranate. Nuclear staining in blue with DAPI and green with Sybr Green anti-mayaro IgG antibody. Transmission electron microscopy: ethanol extract of pomegranate was used at a concentration of 200 µg/ml with a suspension containing purified MAYV and then incubated for 1 h at 37 °C. The sample was placed on a 300-mesh carbon film grid then counterstained with uranyl acetate. Subsequently, it was analyzed in the electron microscope: d purified virus, e virus control, f ethanol extract of pomegranate. Image measurement bar is 100 nm in length
