Decreased Wolbachia titer in the ovaries of irradiated SANG and ARwP Ae. albopictus. A 45-Gy dose was applied to 36 ± 4-h-old pupae. a qPCR analysis was performed on the dissected ovaries of 6 and 13 ± 1-day-old females using primers targeting the specific Wolbachia strains characterizing the two Ae. albopictus populations.
