The haplotype network was generated in PopArt using the TCS network. According to this analysis, haplotype I containing 47 B. clarridgeiae isolated from 14 different countries, including Spain, Malta, Portugal, Philippines, Brazil, Paraguay, China, USA, Taiwan, Indonesia, Japan, Greece, Iran and Turkey, is the most prevalent haplotype. Haplotype I also represents the similar Bartonella isolates that are frequently detected in these countries. Each remaining haplotype represents unique Bartonella isolates to any country.
