Natural product hits from the larval screen were evaluated for adulticidal activity on Aedes aegypti by microinjection into the hemolymph. Bars in the graph represent adult female mosquito mortality at 24 h (black) and 48 h (gray) after injection with 1.4 nmol of one of the 18 hit NPs identified in the screen that was both available and soluble. Thirty mosquitoes were used for each mortality assay, with two independent replicates. Percentages were adjusted according to Abbott’s formula when control mosquito mortality was 5–20%[40].
