Analysis of confocal images from tick organs incubated with 10 µg/ml PKH26-stained (red) RhHEEVs or HaHEEVs and an equal volume of PBS as control, for 24 h. Cell nuclei (blue) were stained with Hoechst 33342. A Rhipicephalus haemaphysaloides and C Hyalomma asiaticum salivary glands were incubated with PKH26-stained RhHEEVs and HaHEEVs, respectively.
