  2. Questionnaire scores and parasitological results stem from a study carried out in Grand Moutcho school, Agboville, Côte d'Ivoire, in early 2010 [17]. Sample 2 with n = 137 observations (79 boys, 58 girls) includes all children who had complete questionnaire, parasitological, clinical and also shuttle run test results (see also Figure 1). The group of excluded with n = 30 observations (18 boys, 12 girls) consists of all children with complete questionnaire, parasitological and clinical data, but no valid shuttle run test results (see also Figure 1). Together, the two groups add up to sample 1 with n = 167 observations (97 boys, 70 girls), which includes all children with complete questionnaire, parasitological and clinical data, but not necessarily valid shuttle run test results.
