Binding of recombinant Lulo protein to Leishmania major promastigotes. Promastigotes were fixed on slides and incubated with recombinant Lulo protein, followed by anti-rLulo serum incubation and Alexa-anti rabbit IgG labelling. The entire body, including the flagellum was brightly stained by green fluorescent staining (a). In contrast, parasites incubated with preimunne serum instead of anti-rLulo serum were not stained with Alexa-anti rabbit IgG (b).
