Between-reader differences evident in controlled experiment. Fifty slides were selected from the pool of slides being assessed during one of the screening phases, and recoded to make them anonymous. Five readers (numbered on the X-axis) read each of these slides independently. Of the 50 slides, at least one reader identified an egg on 34 slides. Each set of horizontal connected dots represents readings from one of these 34 slides by different readers. The Y-axis is on a log scale to enable visualization across the range of egg counts represented here
