From: Differential expression of Aedes aegypti salivary transcriptome upon blood feeding
Validation of the oligoGEArray analysis with quantitative real time RT-PCR. OligoGEArray data analyses were validated by quantitative real time RT-PCR. Five transcripts (angiopoietin-like protein, serine protease, mucin-like peritrophin, 30 kDa protein (belonging to 30.5 kDa family) and glycine rich protein) were randomly selected for validation. A Linear regression model was established and correlation values (R2) were calculated by plotting oligoGEarray fold difference on X-axis and that of quantitative real time RT-PCR on Y-axis.
